Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge...

Hey everyone!

Today I've got ANOTHER challenge card for you all! I am so proud of myself! I've taken part in like 7 challenges this weekend! I hope I can keep it up once the weekend is over! Guess we will see how I do! One way or the other I'll have at least one challenge card a week starting in February! Don't forget to check out the GAB blog!

So here is my take on the Stamping 411 sketch! I used the emboss resist technique on the card base. I think it's a great technique but I'm not sure that my choice of stamps and color was good...  ENJOY!

Stamps: XOXO
Ink: Pretty In Pink, Real Red, Crumb Cake, Versamark
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Crumb Cake, Pretty In Pink, Real Red DSP
Accessories: White Embossing Powder, Square Scallop Punch, Dimensionals

OCC Thank You Challenge with a Twist!

I have another challenge post! I'm on a roll this weekend! I had sooo much fun making this card! I love making the butterflies with the pearls and Baja Breeze is one of my favorite colors so I ALWAYS enjoy using it!

Our Creative Corner has challenged everyone to a Thank You theme with a twist this week! The twist is to use a blue and cream color palette and add metal and vellum to your creation! Now, I have to tell you I did a little improvising as I ran out of vellum last week and haven't been to the store the get more so... I used tissue paper to cover the butterflies! It looks slightly different but I'm willing to bet if I wouldn't have told ya you would have never noticed!

Without further ado... here is my Thank You card!

Stamps: Butterfly Prints, Afterthoughts
Ink: Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze
Paper: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Manchester DSP, Tissue Paper
Accessories: Butterfly Punch, Square Lattice EF, Bronze Brads, String Pearls,
Victoria Crochet Ribbon, Sticky Tape, Dimensionals

THANK YOU!

WOW!
I am in such amazement right now! I just realized how many comments I've received these past couple days and my followers have jumped up with more than 20 NEW followers!!

I just want to say thank you all for your interest and I am so happy! I'm going to do my best over the next week to stop and check out everyone's blogs!

In response to MANY of your comments I will be doing a tutorial of the ribbon technique soon. I hope to have it up next weekend but it may be a little later than that as I have SO many things going on right now with a marketplace event coming up in February.

Also in response to SUE... All you have to do to be a follower on both my blog and the GAB challenge blog is go to each blog and in the left top corner of the main page there will be a "follow" button if you're signed in to blogger. Once you follow a blog you have the ability to see updates on your blogger sign in page! It makes it a lot easier to keep up with posts rather than bookmarking. I hope this helps!!

ONCE AGAIN, THANK YOU ALL!

I think this may be the best year ever!

Today I have another share for you! I am so on top of cards this weekend! I feel so productive! Anyways, this share is made using the Punch Bunch set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog releasing on January 25th! I fell in love with this stamp when I saw it! It just screamed "I'm great with the In Colors!" LOL (I may be young but I have crazy moments too!)

I decided to give the JUGS 65 sketch a shot as my mind was drawing a blank when it came to a layout! I'm really happy with the way this one came out! I think it looks great!

Enjoy!

Happy New Year!!

Hello Everyone!

Hope you all had a very Happy New Year celebration! It's 12:44 here in AZ right now... I rang in the New Year with my two boys (they were and are asleep of course!) as my boyfriend took an extra shift this evening...

I just want to take a moment to share a few of my New Years "goals" with everyone...

1. Lose 20 pounds.. (baby weight)
2. Make and post AT LEAST one card a day
3. Take part in more challenges! I follow TONS of them but hardly do them...
4. Make the GAB Challenges site a success! We are set to start our challenges on Feb. 5th. If you like to play along in challenges please follow us! We would LOVE for you to play along!
5. Find a part time job.. I love being a SAHM but it's nice to have a little extra spending money. My hobby is getting EXPENSIVE! LOL

SO.. Here I am working on two of my goals already! (So much for the first one! LOL) I've been sitting here playing around with some more challenges... I've made this card with the ColorQ 65 challenge and the Sweet Shop 89 sketch challenge. This one actually proved to be a challenge for me as I went to gather my supplies I realized I was out of Basic Grey CS! I was sooo disappointed but I made do without it by stamping with grey instead. And the sketch wasn't exactly easy to me either! I LOVE the layout it just took me a while to figure out how I wanted it!

Enjoy!
